Food reaction test:

What to consider:

  • Omalizumab (Xolair ®) is used in asthma und allergies and is a so called anti-IgE-antibody, which minimizes the number of IgE in the blood in case of allergy.
  • Antihistamines reduces the effect of histamine and are used in allergies. If an allergy occurs there is a high concentration of Type E immunglobulins in the blood. Therefore, it can ce assumed that antihistamines have an effect on these IgE levels because they are used against allergies. However there is no scientiffic documentation on the context.
